The Practice That Helped Me Finally Feel My Soul

Your Soul Won’t Be Found In Your Thoughts.

Here’s How To Feel It Instead.

Dear Friends,

I used to believe that if I just read enough, journaled enough, or healed enough… I’d finally “get there.” That I could think my way into understanding the soul.

But no matter how hard I tried to figure it all out, something still felt just out of reach. Have you ever felt that?

The truth is — the soul doesn’t live in the mind. It can’t be accessed through analysis or overthinking.

The soul lives in presence. It lives in the stillness beneath all the thoughts.

It reveals itself not when we’re trying to understand, but when we soften into awareness.

Understanding your soul isn’t about doing more. It’s about being with yourself in a different way — quieter, gentler, more present.

When I started dropping out of my head and into the deeper space within me, something opened. I could feel the part of me that had always been there… waiting for me to notice.

And that changed everything.

Try This Soul Awareness Practice(Inspired by Tanis Day’s sessions — and one that’s deeply changed my life)

Let’s drop in together:

  1. Take a deep, nourishing breath in… and exhale slowly.

  2. Gently close your eyes.

  3. Bring your attention to the space between your eyebrows.

  4. Now slowly draw that awareness straight back — behind your eyes — into the centre of your brain. Feel into the space between the two hemispheres, just above your ears.

  5. Rest here. Breathe. Just notice — how does it feel? This is the centre of your soul awareness — quiet, still, and deeply alive.

  6. If you want to go even further and connect with your Higher Self: From this space, gently lift your awareness straight upward. Not through imagery or imagination (that brings you into the third eye), but by simply feeling your awareness rise — Up… past the ceiling, past the sky… into the vastness of the cosmos.

Pause here. Feel. This is the space of your Higher Self — expansive, wise, loving, and entirely real.

  7. Then, when you’re ready to return: Gently bring your awareness back down into your body. Take another deep breath. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Slowly begin to move your body before you open your eyes.

I encourage you to keep doing this exercise — it’s one that changed my life. Bring a journal or diary into your practice. When you're in that higher space, ask questions. Let the answers come however they want to.

The language you receive may feel different — quieter, more spacious, and deeply intuitive — but it will be entirely real. With love and light.
